This page describes Blackbone's internal reporting channel under Romanian Law 361/2022 and Directive (EU) 2019/1937. Statutory conditions and protections apply.
1. Who can report
Current, former and prospective staff, contractors, freelancers, trainees, volunteers, shareholders, management members, suppliers and others may report information obtained in a work-related context.
2. What can be reported
Reports may concern suspected breaches of Romanian or EU law, including fraud, corruption, tax offences, money laundering, procurement, data protection, cybersecurity, consumer protection, public health, environmental protection or other unlawful workplace conduct. Provide facts and supporting information available to you.
3. Internal channel
Email integritate@blackbone.ro. Postal reports may be addressed to Blackbone SRL, Chiajna, Ilfov, Romania, marked Confidential — Whistleblowing. You may request a direct meeting. Reports may be named or anonymous; an anonymous report is assessed where it contains sufficient indications of a breach.
4. Procedure
Receipt is acknowledged within seven calendar days where a response channel is available. The report is assessed and appropriate follow-up is undertaken, protecting the reporting person's identity. Information on follow-up is provided within the applicable period, normally three months from acknowledgement or the end of the acknowledgement period, subject to lawful restrictions needed to protect the investigation. Confirmed breaches lead to appropriate corrective measures and, where necessary, referral to authorities.
5. Protection against retaliation
Retaliation is prohibited, including dismissal, suspension, demotion, unjustified pay or schedule changes, harassment, intimidation and discriminatory treatment. Protection depends on the statutory conditions, including reasonable grounds for believing the reported information was true when reported. Deliberately false reporting is not protected merely by using this channel.
6. External reporting and public disclosure
Reports may also be made to the competent external authority, including the National Integrity Agency, and specialised authorities such as ANSPDCP, ANAF or the competent law-enforcement body. Public disclosure is protected only where the conditions established by law are met.
7. Confidentiality and personal data
Access is limited to those authorised to assess and follow up the report. The reporting person's identity and the identities of others mentioned are protected under the applicable law and GDPR. Records are retained for the required period and handled securely. Unnecessary personal data should not be included in a report.
